1. I'm totally addicted to Quiché Lorraine right now. I've first tried these tasty little pies at a small company party about half a year ago - and then tried finding out where to buy them for about two weeks until I've finally found a supermarket who has them in stock. Nowadays, it's at least one or two Quiché per week for me.
2. I am somewhat fickle when it comes to my interests. I do not actually loose interest in something completely, but rather seem to float from phase to phase, each time concentrating on a different aspect of what I like until this "cycle" starts anew. This has both advantages and disadvantages - for I tend to immerse completely into that "focused interest" with a large amount of enthusiasm that usually leads to a lot of great ideas or creative works, but on the other hand there's always the danger that this phase could end in the middle of a project, leaving me burned out and discontent with my inability to complete what I started.
3. I consider myself to be quite creative and love coming up with backgrounds for characters, items, societies or whole worlds. However, I often face problems at getting good ideas for nifty plots and the so-called golden thread for a story. I do not really have an issue with that, though, and simply limit myself to what I do best.
4. I am a bit of a daydreamer as well and sometimes have trouble keeping my own fantasy from distracting me from something I want or need to focus on. Then again, this also means that I get lots of cool ideas "on the side".
5. I'm a Citizen of Earth and have risen above the concept of seeing myself as belonging to a nation or race. I have already emigrated from my home country (got fed up with German politics and stumbled about an opportunity I just had to take) and would have no problem with doing it again, if it would mean I get to improve my situation even more.
Actually, I really love visiting other countries and enjoying the different landscapes. Especially if they include relics of long bygone eras.
6. I am a big fan of romanticized chivalry. Even though I do realize that it (sadly) has no place in our modern world and can even prove to be obstructive to personal success in this dog-eat-dog society, I still maintain some sort of personal code of honor. This does not mean that I don't have my sins and vice, but there are a some virtues I always try to maintain, believing that they make me a better person.
7. I'm a dedicated roleplayer, usually concentrating on Pen and Paper games (either real or IRC-based) or MMOs. Funny enough, I started my roleplaying "career" in a chat-based freeform RPG (Star Wars) many years ago before discovering other games like UO, NWN and then PnP (in this order). I still show up in the freeform one, though, even after all these years.
Oh: and yes, I'm proud to be a nerd. /tg/ for the win!
8. I hate a repetetive choice of words, I really do - especially within one sentence, but also if I notice a trend in a longer text of mine. Like right now, with all eight of my facts starting with the word "I". Damn. >_<

Well, that's that. To pass on the goblet, I have tagged the following four people I value around here:
